Syracuse Crunch Sign Goaltender Atte Tolvanen to AHL Contract

SYRACUSE, N.Y. – The Syracuse Crunch have signed goaltender Atte Tolvanen to an AHL contract for the remainder of the 2018-19 season, general manager Julien BriseBois announced today. Additionally, the Tampa Bay Lightning have reassigned goaltender Connor Ingram to the Orlando Solar Bears of the ECHL.
 
Tolvanen, 24, appeared in 39 games with Northern Michigan University of the WCHA this season recording a 21-16-2 record with five shutouts. The 6-foot, 188-pound netminder ranked fourth in the conference with both a .917 save percentage and 2.35 goals-against average and was named the 2018-19 WCHA Goaltender of the Year.
 
Over his four seasons with Northern Michigan, the Vihti, Finland native tallied a 62-58-13 record with a 2.41 goals-against average and .918 save percentage in 137 games played.
